University of Mysore (UoM) has earned the “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the AICTE for conducting online programs in the Online Learning Mode for the period of 2022-23 to 2026-27.
What is AICTE?
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the national regulatory body for technical education. It is responsible for ensuring and promoting the quality of technical education and maintaining the standards of institutes including engineering colleges, management institutes, and technical colleges. AICTE is also responsible for issuing approvals to new institutes, setting norms and guidelines for providing technical education, and raising the standards of technical education in the country.
University of Mysore (UOM)
University of Mysore (UoM) was established in 1916 in Karnataka and is today 105+ years old. It is the sixth oldest university in India and the first in Karnataka. In 2000, it was the first in India to receive NAAC accreditation and a Five Star Status.
UoM is located in Mysore, a city of gardens, temples, palaces, and monuments. The University campus spreads across vast acres of land near the Kukkarahalli Lake.
