Short Bio

A century older academia, founded in 1916, the University of Mysore, is the sixth oldest in the country. It was the first in the country to be accredited by NAAC in 2000 with Five Star Status. Today it ranks First in Karnataka and 19th in the country in NIRF Ranking 2021.

The University is UGC approved and acknowledged as an autonomous institution by the government of India. It offers education across all the major disciplines and holds research programs. Aiming to spread education at the widespread global platform the University has also launched various accredited online programs.
