Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Amritsar has upgraded its NIRF (2021) ranking. Under the category “India Rankings 2021: University” it has made it to 53, while in the category “India Rankings 2021: Overall” it has gone up to 85.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 2015. It analytically evaluates the educational institutions on a framework and ranks them under different categories. The distinct parameters to appraise an institution are “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
In its ongoing journey, started on 24th November’69, GNDU has constantly been forwarding to reach the milestones of academic excellence. Recently, it has launched a whole 9 online degree programs accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The 2 graduation programs are BA in Punjabi and BCA. The 7 post graduation courses are MA in Punjabi, MCom, MCA, MBA (general), MBA in HR, MBA in Marketing Mgmt., and MBA in Finance Management.
Holding a NAAC A++ grade and upgrading NIRF rankings lead the University ranking among the top prominent academies in the country. The University, committed itself to achieve its aims, foresees surging ranks and defining recognitions.
